| Book lovers
across the country will hit the streets this Sunday
for the 12th annual Word on the Street Book and Magazine
Fair.
在加拿大的书籍爱好者们，这个周日可以参加他们国家举行的一年一度的，被叫做是“世界就在街上”的书籍和杂志交易大会。
Five Canadian cities are taking part in the event:
Halifax, Toronto, Kitchener, Calgary and Vancouver.
加拿大五大城市都参加举办了这次盛会，他们是：省会哈利法克斯，多伦多，基其纳，西南的卡尔加里和范库佛峰。
The festival brings authors, booksellers and loyal
readers out into the fresh air for a celebration of
all things literary.
许多知名作家，出版书商都会出席这次盛会，与忠心的读者们亲情面对面。此次书会，还将作为是所有艺术的庆典。，
More than a dozen writers from Newfoundland are making
the trip to Nova Scotia to get in on the action.
此外，还有超过12位来自纽芬兰的作家们，正准备启程。他们将赶往新斯科舍参加这一活动。
"We've rented a 10x10 table," Libby Creelman
is the executive director of Newfoundland's Writers'
Alliance says. "They'll be manning it and taking
turns signing books. And they're going to bring a
lot of Newfoundland paraphernalia to sell the writers
as Newfoundland writers." she said.

Janet MacNaughton remembers being at the first edition
of Word On The Street in Halifax. She says it has
always been a good way for writers to expand their
readership. "Writers in Toronto are going to
be in Vancouver. Writers from Vancouver are going
to be in Calgary. So it is a good opportunity for
people to move around."

Word On The Street bills itself as the biggest outdoor
book bash in the country.

Paul Butler says the Pier 20 building reminds him
of a huge warehouse:

he says. "A very large number of people come
through. It's a bit of a tourist attraction, too.
And there are booksellers there, and there are usually
publishers there. No one heckles or anything like
that - it's a nice atmosphere."

Word On The Street is a free event.
